Oh sure, they'll tell you all about his childhood and his brilliant
investment decisions. They'll tell you about his commitment to
Benjamin Graham and Phillip Fisher. They'll walk you through the
basics of value investing, complete with terms like "intrinsic value"
and "margin of safety." And of course, they'll even throw in plenty
of Buffettisms to make the product nice and neat.
Now, there's nothing wrong with these products. I've certainly
learned a lot from reading through such things myself. But they're
all missing the most important information of all: telling you exactly
how to invest like Warren Buffett.
